About Golden Golf Club

The Golden Golf Club is a not-for-profit society that delivers a great golfing experience at excellent value.

We are located in the beautiful Columbia Valley, just west of the Rockies, and east of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The surrounding forests, rivers, and mountains offer stunning views in every direction. While we have a strong community membership, we are also a popular destination for golf vacations. The facility is outstanding, and so are the services we offer.

The first 9-hole golf course, designed by Bill Newis, opened in 1986. Many of our members and local residents spent countless volunteer hours helping prepare for opening day. In 1996 the club opened the second nine, adding to the existing 9 hole facility.  Les Furber created perhaps, his finest nine-hole combination. Although different architects designed the two nine holes, they compliment each other perfectly.

The Golden Golf Club is member owned, but welcomes public play. With the intention of providing a good golf course at reasonable rates, the community has produced something much more. The playability and beauty of our course will provide the perfect backdrop to a very memorable experience.
