Lil Dewar, a member of Golden Golf Club since inception, has been honoured for her volunteer work towards BCGA Ladies Golf. Lil has been instrumental in the building of the Golden Golf Club and especially the Ladies Club. She has been honored with the Volunteer Recognition Award for Zone 1 Ladies for 2009.
There are 8 Zones in the Province and Zone 1 comprises 23 Clubs in the East and West Kootenays. Her work has been tireless for the past 25 years since we had a course and many years before that building up the Club. We as a Golf Club are very proud of Lil and her accomplishments.Thanks Lil for all you did and still do. The Executive and members of the Golden Ladies Golf Club.
